Yea, this upright uses bags and it’s proud of it. Using filtration bags is a viable alternative to the bagless models and some find bagged vacuums more convenient and easier to use. The Oreck Deluxe combines a very lightweight vacuum with 99.99% allergen filtration, ergonomic design, and extended warranty coverage. This is not a throw-away vacuum cleaner.

Power and maintenance: Virtually no maintenance is required, other than replacing the Hypo-allergenic bag and belt. Vacuum reviews:
Surprisingly, there is very little customer feedback on this upright. Therefor, I will list off the major complaints about Oreck XL Deluxe. Hopefully, we’ll get some more experienced users to post their comments below.

Complaints about the XL Classic:
Neither model comes with any cleaning attachments. The cleaning head was tall and did not fit under some furniture. Very loud motor. The original Oreck did not have any front wheels and relied on the beater bars to carry the head. Improvements with the XL Deluxe: This bagged upright has a lower profile cleaning head with headlights. Comes with large front wheels and is much easier to move around. Uses a good brush system for thorough overall, and edge cleaning. Still very lightweight at only 9 lbs.
