dyson dc24 vacuum cleanerIf there's one thing about Dyson vacuum cleaners that people complain about, it's the weight. Who wants to lug around an almost 30-pound vacuum cleaner anyway?

Well, here comes DC 24, Dyson's answer to the whole weight issue. At a little under 12 pounds, the DC 24 is tiny vacuum cleaner that packs mighty suction power. The Dyson DC24 still has everything that is good about Dyson vacuum cleaners. The only difference is that DC24 won't break your back.

The $400 DC24 still has the patented Root Cyclone Technology that can separate dust from air using strong centrifugal force. It will still clean the air you breathe, emitting air that has 150 times less mold and bacteria.

It also has all the other health-related features that Dyson is known for. It has the High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter that can suck in the smallest air pollutants. This Dyson upright is still highly recommended for people suffering from asthma and allergies.

dyson dc15 vacuum cleanerThe Ball is a large rubber, rotating cover which surrounds the motor. This ball is the sole steering mechanism. You simply angle the vacuum handle to turn the vacuum cleaner in one direction or another. The more you angle the unit the wider it turns. This eliminates the need to lift the head every time you want to turn the vacuum in a new direction. The ball also makes it much easier to get into tight places.

This model makes it easy to go from carpets to bare floors or delicate rugs. Just flip a switch and the brush turns off.
Don’t like the hight cost of replacing filters? The Dyson DC15 uses a lifetime, washable HEPA filtration system. The filtration system is approved for allergy sufferers by the British Allergy Foundation.

We’re all familiar with the routine of picking up the larger pieces of paper, rubber bands, and pennies before we vacuum. Dyson has reduced this step by creating an extra wide suction channel that pick up debris other brands spit out or leave behind.
