This bagless comes with the standard 12 amp. motor and the two stage cyclonic action is designed for maximum power suction until the dirt container is full. Pros:
The Bissell Velocity 3950 weighs around 20 lbs. which is fairly lightweight as far as bagless uprights are concerned. The dirt container is large and empties easily. Provides good, powerful suction. Assembly is easy and requires only a Phillips screwdriver. Very reasonably priced. The clear vacuum hose allows you to see any clogs which may occur. Wide, dual edge cleaning head makes vacuuming less of a chore.

Cons:
Some parts seem to be cheaply made and may not hold up to very frequent vacuuming for with several pets or high traffic. If you vacuum the entire house several times a week, and are concerned with quality over price, you may want to find a higher quality brand. There are 7 height setting that go from plush carpets to bare floors, but the brushes do not shut off completely.
